Building Blocks @ 9:30 AM
Worship Service @ 10:30 AM
What Should I Wear?
Our congregation is typically wears comfortable, casual, modest attire appropriate to the season. Our building temperature tends to be on the slightly cool side. You might want an outer layer that could be removed.
Where Do I Go?
We encourage first time guests to come in through the main entrance at the front corner of the building. You will be greeted by someone from our guest and connections team who can help you navigate the building. The restrooms and Children's Ministry wing will be down the hall to your right. The sactuary will be straight ahead.
Do You Have A Children's Ministry?
Yes, and we would love to have your children join us! If you have children, please arrive a few minutes before the service to check in to our children's ministry. We'll make sure we have your contact information and print any special needs (allergies, etc.) on your child's name tag. All of our volunteers have undergone background checks and are trained in our child-care policies and procedures.
What Is The Service Like?
Preaching
The regular diet at Milwood is expositional preaching. That means we seek to expose the main point of the text and apply it. Our sermon series will most often work sequentially through one book of the Bible at a time.
Congregational Singing
We aim to have music and songs which are most conducive for the whole congregation worshipping God in spirit and in truth. We sing worshipful songs from multiple genres and moods of music. It is a sweet sound and deeply encouraging when we hear each other sing the gospel togeher. Our music is lead by a rotating team of volunteers.

Bible Reading
A few times in the service we take time to hear God's word read aloud. There is a reading of the gospel, a reading connected to the pastoral prayer, and a reading of the sermon text.
Fellowship
Feel free to hang around after the service a bit. Most Sundays people stick around and fellowship in the sanctuary or foyer area after the service. Please feel free to stay for a while. We would love to meet you.
