BUILDING USE POLICY
In order to properly maintain the building and be considerate of others using the same building, I understand we are to abide by the following guidelines:
1. A NONREFUNDABLE deposit of $100 is to be sent to the church. This includes a key access to the building and the first hour of building use. A fee of $25/hour is requested to cover the utilities and cleaning costs for the event.
2. Always leave the room(s) as nice as you found them. Cleaning supplies can be found on each floor. Make sure that the tables and chairs are back where they were before you began your event. Please bring your own linens and supplies for your event. If additional cleaning is required after your event, please contact the Church Building Deacon, Matt, at ham6288@gmail.com as soon as possible.
3. Children are not to be in any part of the building or grounds without adult supervision.
4. Make sure your group stays in the area(s) requested below as other groups might be using the building at the same time.
5. Please only adjust the thermostats up or down. DO NOT place them on hold or leave the fan in the on position.
6. Use of alcohol and tobacco is prohibited in any part of the church building and grounds.
KEY POLICY
If your event requires having a key to the building you must complete a Key Request form, and agree to abide by the following guidelines:
1. The church key(s) may not be duplicated for any reason, nor loaned to anyone without approval of church staff.
2) The named applicant assumes responsibility for making sure that all outside doors are locked and secured properly.
3) The named applicant agrees to return the key(s) to the church office no later than one week after the event.
TABLES AND CHAIRS
IN YOUR DESIRED ROOM: YOU ARE WELCOME TO REARRANGE TABLES AND CHAIRS WHICH ARE IN YOUR DESIGNATED ROOM IN ORDER TO BEST SUIT THE NEEDS OF YOUR EVENT. WE ASK THAT YOU REARRANGE THE ROOM TO ITS ORIGINAL SETUP WHEN YOU LEAVE. RECOMMENDATION: TAKE A PICTURE OF THE ROOM ON YOUR PHONE TO RECALL EXACT SET UP.
FROM OTHER ROOMS: IF YOUR EVENT REQUIRES MORE TABLES THAN ARE AVAILABLE IN THE REQUESTED ROOM, YOU MAY REQUEST TO PULL TABLES AND CHAIRS FROM ANOTHER ROOM. THIS MUST BE APPROVED BY OUR OFFICE AS WE MAY HAVE OTHER EVENTS TAKING PLACE AT THAT TIME. WE REQUEST YOU PUT THEM BACK IN THEIR ORIGINAL LOCATION WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED.
FROM STORAGE: THERE ARE ADDITIONAL TABLES AND CHAIRS IN STORAGE AND TO ACCESS THOSE YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A NONREFUNDABLE $100.00 DEPOSIT TO THE CHURCH OFFICE BEFORE THE EVENT. MILWOOD BAPTIST PERSONNEL WILL PLACE THOSE TABLES IN THE DESIRED ROOM BY AN AGREED UPON TIME. THE TABLES AND CHAIRS SHOULD BE CLEANED, NEATLY STACKED, AND READY FOR RELOCATION WHEN YOUR EVENT IS OVER.
